No matter what stage your hair is in.

 To all my fellow Natural Lovin' Sisters and Brothers.  No matter what method we used to get here .. we STILL share a common bond and Freedom.  Everyday is a learning experience.

 I remember when I first put my web site up ... and how people commented about "my parts", "the tiny locks", and my Sisterlocks™ not looking like "REAL" locks ... and the curly Q's.... 

Well now after 17+ months I'm loving them more and more. Don't get me wrong I still have those days when I'm my own worse enemy ... when it comes to finding something wrong .... But overall in the BIG picture of things ... this is much better then the hair woes I had before.

Have you ever had "LOCK Envy" ...??
That's when you see someone's beautiful Locks .. and you want your locks to look just like theirs.  At the same time they are telling you how wonderful your hair looks .. and how they wish their own locks were doing what yours are now....  How Funny.

I have these same thoughts at times because my hair has always been on the thin side.  My hair is not that dense and in some areas baby fine.  So when I see others with full volume  locks I sometimes wish my locks were that full.  I notice different style options help me to achieve the look I want. Also with time my locks have become fuller.

Have you ever had someone say to you .....???

"Is that permanent????

"How do you take it out????"

"What about your image????"

"Are you going to do THAT forever...????"

 Yes I still have days when I feel I need to style then to get a better look. But anything GOOD is worth working with. 

Hey I've seen some permed styles that look like the person
 should go sit back in the chair. 

But I would not say go take the perm out ... or that weave out .... We are sooo brainwashed ... and it's sad.

Maybe it's an age thing ... but by the time I turned 40 people's comments meant less and less to me.  Of course we all wanted to be accepted ... but first we have to Love ourselves.  

Then lovin' others will become easier as the days go by.

Besides .. our creator did not make any JUNK .... 
                                                  and that includes our HAIR!!!!
