 Sunday Evening July 30th, 2000 :

I'm sitting in the home of Kim Hall, a Sisterlocks™ consultant in San Diego, getting my Sisterlocks™ straw set.  Fatima Allen also a consultant from Tallahassee Florida is setting my hair on drinking straws.  Michelle Laron of Rancho Cucamonga, CA uses this style on her clients often and offered to show us how to do it.
Meanwhile Kim is using Michelle talents and hands to get some retightening done.

Never pass up an opportunity to get help when you can.

The unity going on here is unreal.

Yes Sistas ... getting along.

Kim's husband who is a photographer offered to photo the finished work for her portfolio.
I will post those pictures later.

All of this was a random thought ... unplanned.

Thanks to my new Sisterlocks™ friends.

(((( HUGS )))) and Kisses :-+  to ya!!

Michelle shows how to start setting with straws. First my hair is dampen. Gathering several locks close to one another it's rolled on an angle later securing with a hair pin. P7300017a.jpg (236703 bytes) P7300019a.jpg (271420 bytes)
