Fellowship ~ Naptural Hair Day in the 'Nati ~ August 23nd 2003

Highlights from the March 1st event.

The Tri - State (Ohio - Indiana - Kentucky) was in the house. There were people there from as far north as Cleveland and far west as Kansas City , MO. One person said she was on the computer surfing that Saturday morining and found the posting on the Around the "Nati web site. http://www.aroundthenati.com She got off the computer and "came" right over to join us. Now that's what I'm talking about. Make yourself at home.

We had a wonderful turn out. About 75 - 100 people came thru the place in the 4-hour period of time. Marie Folden, Elaniece Alstork (Salon Klassique and Kentucky Kinks) and myself were "stupid" tired at the end of the day but it was well worth it. We had 5 vendor's present who also shared with us.

Elaniece Alstork produced a newsletter for the event called NAPPI NATI NEWS.

We grew out of our "living room" so we will have to hold it in a bigger room next time. Rare Elegance was a great host.

We just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for supporting Naptural Hair Day in the Nati.

It was a fantastic event and wouldn't have been without your participation. Thanks for coming, for sharing the news of the event and telling your family, friends, and neighbors.

The interaction and networking was awesome and some new friendships were created. Best of all we could talk and share our hair stories, successes and tips with each other.

We hope you enjoyed the vendors and also, the book and product displays.
