It's just Hair!!!!

My  Sisterlocks™ at 3 years and 5 months old are definitely a little on the wild side.  There are areas where the length varies as much as 1 inch or more.  I have one lock that stretches way down my back compared to the other locks in the same area  Also there are places around my hairline where the hair is still baby fine  Not enough there to lock so I usually just brush hair back to blend in with the locks surrounding that area.

This is a good time for me to do some grooming which will include trimming my ends.  The overall density of my hair has always been on the thin side.  Being some what even in length will give my Sisterlocks™    more body.  After trimming my locks should take on a fuller look with
more bounce

The last time I evened my ends was October 2001.

So without any regrets I plan to cut/ trim my Sisterlocks™
 Pictures will follow.

The length I lose will be regained in time so I'm not concerned.  Since my locks have matured I can safely cut them on an angle without the fear of them coming out.  My ends however will "blow out" slightly exposing raw "curly' Q's" again.
This however is not a problem.  I will also start using the
Sisterlocks™  starter shampoo again to help my newly exposed ends lock again.  Go to the Sisterlocks™ web site for information about their hair care products.

Often we become so consumed with how much growth our locs have attained. This journey is a true lesson in patience.  I'm certain I've groomed away at least 2 to 3 inches of growth, however the over appearance and health of my locs in what is most important.

With a little air and sunshine and the daily gift of life ...
they CAN and WILL grow.

It's just Hair ... nothing to worry over.
